Price & Offer Data Policy
How BuyViao intends to display retailer prices, freshness, availability, shipping and price history without presenting stale or placeholder data as live.
Live means sourced
BuyViao does not intend to label a placeholder number as a live retailer price. Public offer data should come from an approved retailer API, affiliate-network feed, merchant catalog or another source whose terms allow the relevant use.
Prices change
Retailer prices, shipping charges, coupons and availability can change after BuyViao checks them. The retailer checkout page is the final authority for the amount a shopper pays.
Freshness
Where technically and contractually possible, we display a last-checked timestamp or equivalent freshness information. If data becomes too old for the source policy, it should be removed or clearly treated as stale.
Total purchase cost
A low item price is not always the lowest total cost. Shipping, membership requirements, taxes, pickup options and other conditions can affect a purchase. BuyViao may surface these factors when reliable data is available.
Price history
Historical price storage is source-dependent. We only retain long-term price history when the source terms or data agreement permit that retention.
